FM2014 Match in Between Highlights Adaptive Skins Updated Again

Well that was a bit of bad timing as patch 14.2 was released today and it has caused some problems with the panel IDs, updated files (version 2.0) have now been uploaded to my website and the Steam Workshop fixing this problem (however I am unable to update the Dark Wide Skin on the Steam Workshop at the moment so you'll need to grab that one off my website):

FM2014 Match in Between Highlights Adaptive Skins Updated

I've uploaded the Match In Between Highlight Skins to the Steam Workshop and they also had a couple of minor updates to bring them upto date with patch 14.1.4:

Version 1.4 (18th December 2013)

- Uploaded files to Steam Workshop.
- Checked compatibility with patch 14.1.4
- Added back coding to automatically pause the match when changing views in each panel.
- Included default 'match incidents small.xml' and 'match incidents overview small.xml' files to allow people to adjust overview screen layout.

FM2014 Match in Between Highlights Adaptive Skins

As with FM2013 we are again stuck with a hydrid TV-Classic mode match screen that still doesn't switch to previous panels when there are no highlights, instead we get a small In Between Highlights Panel that shows a tiny amount of information, thankfully this panel can be edited.

Which is what these skins do they maximize the amount of space given to the In Between Highlights Panel.

To make things easier for Football Manager 2014 I have turned the mod into Skins further the panel has been modified to use the Adaptive panels which means it automatically resizes itself to fit the screen resolution you are using and will display extra panels at larger resolutions.

There are currently two versions available for each of the Default FM2014 skins aswell as the FMC Mode skin.

Normal - Maximizes the size of the in-between match highlights panel positioned in the centre of the screen and leaving space for the match feed notifications down the right. (For the FMC version some of the match feed overlays the panel even in this mode as the feed takes up more room in FMC mode).

Wide - Maximizes the size of the in-between match highlights panel, but this time uses up the full width of the screen, this allows for more information to be shown at smaller screen resolutions, but the match feed items when displayed will cover parts of the top right side of the panel.

I also plan on releasing an adjustable version (like the FM13 version) once I get it working.

Outside of the Match each skin is identical to the base version it is based upon.

Advanced instructions are also available to apply them to other skins and to enable alternative views.

Screenshots show a sample of available views and the panel at different resolutions, each version has the same views and panels enabled.

Football Manager 2014 Base Skins Released

As with recent Football Managers to make certain changes in Football Manager 2014 you are required to add files to the skin folders, whilst this isn't a problem for fan-made skins it is a slight problem if you are using the Default Skins included with the game. So to help people out I have again made some Base Skins for FM2014 that allow you to add and modify the default skins without breaking your game.

Full instructions on when and how to use the Base Skins can be found on the download page, please ensure you read the page in detail before downloading the Base Skins as it will save you problems in the future.

Currently there are two versions of the Base Skin - one for normal FM2014 and the other for the Classic Mode (FMC)

FM2013 Match in Between Hightlights Mod v1

The match screen for Football Manager 2013 seems to have gone through a major change - we now seem to have a hybrid TV-Classic view mode only with the major change being that when there are no highlights you are left on the pitch view instead of switching back to the last panel you were on, instead we are left with a small pop-up giving us some information like the old TV-View widgets.

Thankfully this pop-up is editable, which is what this mod does it resizes the pop-up and modifies the content of the panels to show the full panel details where possible.
