Football Manager 2022 Light Skin

With no Default Light Skin again this year, I have adapted last years version blending a Light Grey background with the Magenta and Purple Accents from FM22, with a layout based on the Default FM22 skin with a few tweaks.

Screenshots

Main changes outside of the colour changes;

- Player Attributes screen increased the size of the player face and logo, removed the scrollbars from the Attributes and added the Report option to the Small Selector panels.

- Best XI Screen changed the tactics icons on the pitch to use the ones from the Welcome screen that include the player faces.

Known Issues

- With the new Transfer Deadline Day screens the yellow accent on that day replaces the other accent colours in the skin so some title text may not be that clear on deadline day, for the moment if you reload the skin with the skin cache turned off on transfer deadline day the game will revert to using the standard accent colours.

If you notice any issues with the Light Skin please raise them in the Skinning Hideout on the Official SIGames Forums, where I can be found most days.

Football Manager 2022 Base Skin

As with most recent Football Managers for you to make certain changes in Football Manager 2022 you need to create a new skin. Thankfully over the last few years some more stuff has been moved out of the skins folder so you only really need the Base skin if you are wanting to edit the skin graphics, fonts or colours. If you want to edit the match graphics or the most of the panel xml files you no longer really need the base skins.
So to make things easier for people I've put up a base skin that is identical to the default skin that comes with the game, so you can add new files/graphics to these without messing up the original skin, and anything that isn't located in these new skin folders will be taken from the default locations within the game.

For Football Manager 2022 there is just the one Base Skin based on the Default Skin which is the Dark version this year, it is also possible that I may release a couple of alternative versions with different accent colours after the full release if I get a chance.

A Light Skin will follow but again with no default light skin this year it requires more work, but should be quicker than last year.

Full instructions on when and how to use the Base Skins can be found on the download page, please ensure you read the page in detail before downloading the Base Skins as it will save you problems in the future.

If you have any further questions on the Base Skins please ask any questions in the Skinning Hideout on the Official SIGames Forums.

Football Manager 2022 - Release Date Announced

As you are most likely aware Football Manager 2022 is due out on 9th November 2021, with the public beta available most likely just before Halloween for those of you who have pre-ordered the game from a participating retailer.

From the announcements so far there are a couple of Skinning related parts.

First as you may be aware there will be no PC version of Football Manager Touch this year, which is sad news for some it is good news for me as it means less work as since Touch mode was spun off into it's own version it has been harder for me to continue to support it Skinning wise as I barely touch that version of the game.

Second Miles announced on Twitter that again their will be no Light Skin included with the game, so again I'll be creating one, but on the plus side most of last years week should be usable so it shouldn't take as long to make one hopefully.

Also from what I have seen from the pre-release materials it doesn't look like the Match Screens have changed that much, so an updated version of my Match Screens Mod is also again in my plans.

Football Manager 2021 Match Screens Mod v2

Another late update, but the Match Screens Mod has now had an updated Version 2 released.

This version splits out the Full-Time Review and Post/Past-Match Review Panels into two separate files like in previous version, whilst I have also added the ability to view the Classic Analysis and Stats screens from within the Tactics Screen during a match.

However these changes mean this version of the Mod now needs to be installed within a skin so won't work with Touch Mode nor some third party skins as such I have also left up (and updated) Version 1 of the mod.

Football Manager 2021 Light Alt Skin

This is an Alternative version of my Light Skin for FM21, this version is slightly darker with Blue Accents, with a layout based on the Default FM21 skin with a few tweaks.

Main changes outside of the colour changes;
Player Attributes screen increased the size of the player face and logo, removed the scrollbars from the Attributes and added the Report option to the Small Selector panels.

Embedded Tactics Screens reduced the padding around the sides to maximise the content area for most resolutions.

Match Scoreboard included my forthcoming Scoreboard Mod that changes the scoreboard to use the normal team names (as used on the league tables), team colours and logos. (NOTE: That the Skin doesn't include my other Match Screens Mod as it is due to be updated but you can freely install the current version with no issues).

Best XI Screen changed the tactics icons on the pitch to use the ones from the Welcome screen that include the player faces.

Fixes for IGE, Match Screens among other screens.

Fixed more news items with white text.

Reworked End of Season Review Screens.

Football Manager 2021 Light Skin v2 Update

Sorry it has taken me so long but I've now managed to update the Light Skin to v2 which should fix various lingering issues, fixes include among others:

  • Various colour tweaks including making the skin a little darker.
  • Fixes for IGE, Match Screens among other screens.
  • Fixed more news items with white text.
  • Reworked End of Season Review Screens.
  • Integrated my Scoreboard with Team Colours, Fuller Names, and kits overlaid logos.

Football Manager 2021 Match Screens Mod v1.1

Match Screens Mod has been updated to v1.1.

Changes include;

  • Added Heat Map/Average Positions panel.
  • Switched HT Review screen to use Adaptive panels so the right side panel disappears at lower resolutions.
  • FT Review Screen, removed Action Zones, Focus of Attacks and Report options as could cause the game to crash. (Can still access through Analytic Data popup button).
  • Split FTR tablet files into separate files to solve issues with game resetting panels.
  • Included an alt IBH panel, if you are having resolution issues and don't need to collapse the IBH panels then unzip the extractifwantfullscreenibhpanel.zip from the panels\match folder and let it replace the match in between highlights panel file and this will give you the basic eight panel view like from FM20 (or the FTR screen).
Screenshots of new HTR screen and the alt IBH panel

Finally like always the mod makes no changes outside of the Match Screens and thus is identical in appearance the Default Skin elsewhere.

Football Manager 2021 Scoreboard Mods

These are a collection of Mods that switch the short (six letter) team name in the scoreboard to the normal team name as shown on the tables and enable the team logos as well.

There are four versions of the mod, one that changes the team names, adds the logos but doesn't use the team colours, and three that change the team names and use the team colours with one of these only enabling logos, the second enabling both kits and logos and the third enabling kits and logos overlaid.

Football Manager 2021 Light Skin

With no Default Light Skin this year, I have after a fair bit of work created one that is based on the Light Skin Colour Scheme from FM20 blending a Light Grey background with Cyan and Purple Accents, with a layout based on the Default FM21 skin with a few tweaks.

Main changes outside of the colour changes;

- Player Attributes screen increased the size of the player face and logo, removed the scrollbars from the Attributes and added the Report option to the Small Selector panels.

- Embedded Tactics Screens reduced the padding around the sides to maximise the content area for most resolutions.

- Match Scoreboard included my forthcoming Scoreboard Mod that changes the scoreboard to use the normal team names (as used on the league tables), team colours and logos. (NOTE: That the Skin doesn't include my other Match Screens Mod as it is due to be updated but you can freely install the current version with no issues).

- Best XI Screen changed the tactics icons on the pitch to use the ones from the Welcome screen that include the player faces.

Football Manager 2021 Match Screens Mod

Welcome to my Match Screens Mod for Football Manager 2021.

As you may have noticed FM21 has re-worked the match screens, so I have rebuild the Match Screens Mod from scratch keeping the functionality of the new FM21 screens whilst adding in some more customization options as well as bringing back some panels from previous versions.

The mod again incorporates modifications to both the Match In Between Highlights panel and the Match Review screens, though I haven't had chance to modify the pre-match line-up panels or the Post Match Press Summary Panel.

Football Manager 2021 Touch Base Skins

As with most recent Football Managers for you to make certain changes in Football Manager 2021 Touch you need to create a new skin. Thankfully over the last few years some more stuff has been moved out of the skins folder so you only really need the Base skin if you are wanting to edit the skin graphics, fonts or colours. For Football Manager 2021 Touch you have three skins to choose from the Default (Purple) Skin, and two Dark Skins one based on the FM21 colouring (Purple accents) and one based on the FM20 colouring (Cyan and Yellow accents).

Football Manager 2021 Dark Base Skins Updated

Both the FM21 Base Dark Skin and FM21 Base Dark (FM20) Skins have been updated.

Default FM21 Base Skin hasn't been updated, and a Light Version is still in progress.

Fixes include:

Colour Tweaks

- Fixed issue with bright yellow background colour, changed to Purple from Main Dark Skin (bg tertiary colour).

- Tweaked the media tag colours on the inbox screens, made lighter so more readable.

Player Attribute Panel Tweaks

- Removed unneeded scrollbar.

- Stopped bottom option being cut from Analyzer

- Increased player pic size.

- Added Report option to Small Selector Panel.

General

- I also had to change the folder names due to an issue with the Steam Workshop, though this shouldn't cause any issues apart from them not matching the screenshots

If you have any further questions on the Base Skins please ask any questions in the Skinning Hideout on the Official SIGames Forums.

Football Manager 2021 Base Skins

Please note that these skins will only work with the Full Mode of Football Manager 2021, Football Manager 2021 Touch Mode Base Skins will be released after that version has been released.

As with most recent Football Managers for you to make certain changes in Football Manager 2021 you need to create a new skin. Thankfully over the last few years some more stuff has been moved out of the skins folder so you only really need the Base skin if you are wanting to edit the skin graphics, fonts or colours. For Football Manager 2021 at the moment you have three skins to choose from the Default (Purple) Skin, and two Dark Skins one based on the FM21 colouring (Purple accents) and one based on the FM20 colouring (Cyan and Yellow accents). Light Base Skins will follow but with no default light skin this year they require a bit more work.

I'll also upload the Dark (and when they are ready Light) Versions to the Steam Workshop later for those that want a Dark/Light skin but don't need to edit them.

Full instructions on when and how to use the Base Skins can be found on the download page, please ensure you read the page in detail before downloading the Base Skins as it will save you problems in the future.

Football Manager 2021 - Pre-Release Beta Is Out

For those of you who have purchased a Digital Copy the Pre-Release Beta of Football Manager 2021 is now live on both Steam and Epic.

My Guides and Content will be slowly updated for FM2021, however at the moment we are unable to access the game files as the older versions of the Resource Tool won't open the FM21 fmf files so we are limited in what info we can access until the full release of the game so it won't be possible to update most guides and content until after the full release of the game.

In the mean time I'll be updating some back end stuff on my sites, so you may see my main site go down for a bit over the next years as Google keep on nagging me to switch over to their new sites platform so we'll see how that goes.

Football Manager 2020 - Mint Skins Collection

Thanks to taking a break and due to the current downtime I have actually managed to just about get an actual proper skin released.

These skins are an evolution of the personal skin I've used over the years but never managed to put into a releasable state until now (if you've followed my progress in Dafuge's Challenge over the years you'll likely recognize parts of it) and is based on the Default Light Skin and started life off with a green and blue tint (hence the name) before I went on a bit of a tangent for FM20 and based the colours loosely on the BBC Sport Website.

Football Manager 2020 - Match Screen Mods

Welcome to my Match Screen Mods for Football Manager 2020, yes horribly late but hey better late than never.

There has been no real changes this year apart from updating some of the code to reflect FM20 coding changes, though I have had to remove the Widget code as the game doesn't like you playing around with them this year. For the most part if you are using the updated FM19 panels with no problems then you can carry on using them, though if you are having problems then you can switch to this version as some of the changes made may fix the issue you are having.

The mod this year incorporates the main Match In Between Highlights mod with the various Match Review Screens.

The IBH panel and its Review panel have both been expanded out to eight panels, for the Review panel each of them are fully resizable in game by grabbing the divider between the panels and dragging it until you get the size you want, you can also drag the divider to the corner of the screen to fully hide a panel if you don't need all of them. However for the IBH panel you can only adjust the width in game (as the game won't remember the height) though I have set the two outer panels to be split vertically by default, and if you don't want one of these panels you can hide them by dragging the divider to the side so the panel is hidden.

For the Half-Time and Full-Time Review Panels these have with one selectable panel on the left and two on the right.

I have also added in some alternative views for the Overview, Match Stats and Formation which can now be selected like the other views via the drop-down menus in the top right corner, I've also re-worked the Player Rating panels these now use the Full Panel but with the Basic view added in and you can change the views by select the drop-down box on the left of those panels.

And like last year there is only the need for one version of the mod regardless of which skin or even which mode of FM you are using, though some of the information or screens might not show up in the Touch Mode as it doesn't support the same data as the full mode. (Unless you are using the Workshop version then you'll need to pick the one that suits the Default Skin you prefer).

Please note that whilst I haven't tested the mod on the Touch, GamePass or Epic Store versions of the game it should still work with those versions.

And as always outside of the match screen this mod make no changes, so it should be compatible with any skin that hasn't already altered these panels.
